Hey Y'all! Marina and I(Baleigh) thought we would kick off our blog with a little information about us and the online boutique we've started.

First things first...
I'm sure you're all wondering where we came up with the name Anjouil's Boutique. Anjouil is actually our dad's mother's name and is a family name as well. We liked it because it was unique and different! Our grandma has always been so supportive of all of us girls and has just been the best grandma Marina and I would've ever asked for! For those of you who know her, you know how sweet she is! We just thought her name was perfect and well deserving for the boutique! By the way...that's her pictured on the left!

Now a little about us...
Marina and I are actually sisters, which I'm sure most of you know! But if you didn't I'm sure it's a shock...we look nothing alike! Owning a boutique of some sorts has always been a dream of mine! I enjoy picking merchandise out and bringing fun and fashionable items to y'all. Marina is really great at picking out impulse items and assists me in picking out clothing and accessories!
We've discussed opening up a boutique for the past year now and I honestly thought it wouldn't happen for at least several more years. We decided to start small by opening an online boutique and doing trade shows in the hopes of eventually opening an actual storefront one day. Successfully opening and operating our own business is something we aspire to do!
Marina and I have grown up watching our Dad and Uncle own and operate a successful business. They are going on 40 years this year! In fact, they started out their business in their parent's garage...very similar to what we are trying to do! Hopefully we can be just as successful! This is where we have gained a lot of our business tools...plus I've learned a lot from my mom as well.
Our dreams for the boutique...
We hope to open a storefront one day...maybe within the next couple of years! We've discussed either opening one in the Houston area or possibly the San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels area. Right now we are just focusing on the online store, though, and working on getting together a show schedule for 2012. We will defiantly keep you updated on everything we're doing!
